Our Pink Hanasōbu Obi Handbag is a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted from a vintage Japanese obi (帯) – a 100% pure silk sash traditionally worn with kimono. 
Soft cream silk, embossed with kikkō (tortoise shell pattern) hexagons, serves as a luminous canvas for the elegant bloom of hanashōbu (花菖蒲)—the Japanese iris—rendered in gentle shades of pink and violet. Gold accents surround the delicate outlines, catching the light like morning sun glinting on dew-kissed petals. Two inner pockets patterned with the same flower motif marries functionality with elegance.
